Indoor Ski Resort Setting Up At 'American Dream' In East Rutherford

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- American Dream in the Meadowlands is teaming up with Big Snow America to offer an indoor ski and snowboard park.

Developers Triple Five and resort operating group SNOW Operating announce North America’s first 365 day a year indoor ski park.

Standing 12-stories tall and spanning more than 180,000 square-feet, Big SNOW America will offer year-round skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing, alongside indoor snow play and event space.

A collection of ski and snowboard retail stores dubbed “The Shops @ Big SNOW” will surround the snow park.

Meant to imitate the feel of a big mountain resort, there will be equipment rentals, lessons, ski chalet, shopping village and après ski lounge.

SNOW’s partner mountains include Killington, Aspen and Whistler.

American Dream is scheduled to open in 2017.
