Sock Drive Planned For Meadowlands Networking Meeting

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce is planning a sock drive at the organization's next monthly networking meeting Oct. 15.

Those who attend should bring new socks for men or women to the meeting, which is planned for 8-10 a.m. at Homewood Suites, 125 Route 17 South. Socks will be donated to the Bergen County Homeless Shelter.

This is the first time the employee benefits and wellness committee is having a sock drive. The goal is to collect 500 pairs of socks.
