Tourism Experts To Covene At Meadowlands In Secaucus

SECAUCUS, N.J. -- The nuts and bolts of the New Jersey tourism industry will be explored at an event from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, N.J.

MDest 2015 will draw representatives from all corners of the state to talk about their experiences and visions for the future, organizers said.

The keynote address will be given by Lt. Gov. Kimberly Ann Guadagno.

Representatives of destination marketing organizations will talk about their status, challenges, opportunities and needs, organizers said.

An awards ceremony, honoring excellence in the tourism industry, and a cocktail hour and reception also are planned.

Registration is required and is set for 11:30 a.m., organizers said. The cost for members is $65; non-members, $85; DMO representatives, $55, and closing reception only, $35.
