Teen participants will search the library for the hidden codes, scan them by downloading a scanning app such as “Quick Scan” or “QR Code Reader & Barcode Scanner” to their smartphone or tablet. The hidden codes spell out a message that the teens must finish and relay to YA and Children’s Librarian Maria Russo.

The first teen to figure out the message will win a gift card to Starbucks.

Clues as to where the codes are hidden will be available at the front circulation desk.

For additional questions contact Russo at 201-939-3930.

The East Rutherford Memorial Library is located at 143 Boiling Springs Ave.
