Rutherford Library Offers Computer Coding Class

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Children ages 6-10 years old are invited to attend the Rutherford Public Library’s first CoderDojo program from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, June 6.

Children will learn to code with Scratch and make their own projects and games. Children must bring a laptop to the program.

CoderDojo is a global network of free, volunteer-led community based programmers to teach children about programming. The CoderDojo focus is on peer and project based learning, with an emphasis on collaboration. Children learn how to code and develop programs and games and explore technology in an informal and creative environment.
