Rutherford Organizes Arbor Day Ceremony

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Shade Tree Commission and the Board of Aesthetic Review/Quality of Life Committee are inviting area residents to attend the Rutherford Arbor Day Ceremony.

The Rutherford Arbor Day Ceremony will be held April 23.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 23, at 11:30 a.m. at Union School.

Along with a commemoration of the holiday, a tree will be planted in memory of Thom Casadonte, a former member of the Rutherford Board of Education.
