Rutherford's Rodney The Dog Listens To Children Read

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Rutherford Public Library welcomes Rodney, a registered therapy dog, for its read-to-a-dog program, on Tuesday.

Children will have a chance to read to a dog on Tuesday at the Rutherford Library.

Children who are able to read a little bit and would like to be able to practice their reading skills are invited to sign up for a 15 minute time slot with Rodney.

Rodney will be available between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on April 26.

Registration is required and should be done by contacting Jane Tarantino at the library at (201) 939-8600, ext. 6 or by email at jane.tarantino@rutherford.bccls.org.

The Rutherford Library is located at 150 Park Ave.
