CARLSTADT, N.J. — De-stress before the holidays at two coloring classes scheduled for adults at the Carlstadt Library.

Coloring can have a positive effect on the adult mind, studies show, and is a recent trend in relaxation and wellness. Coloring pages from books designed especially for adults, as well as colored pencils, gel pens and markers will be provided.

The classes are 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11. The Carlstadt Library is at 420 Hackensack St.
