EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The East Rutherford Library helped kids celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Thursday.

Kids colored and designed a Mother's Day coloring sheet and also participated in a Mexican Hat Dance.

Cinco de Mayo celebrates the Mexican army's victory over the French at the battle of Puebla. It is used to celebrate Mexican heritage in the United States.
