"At 40 years old, I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up," said the mother of two and founder of the Fertilities Unite (FU) Project.
She helps women go through fertility treatments "easier, smarter, and cheaper" than she did.
"I had been in a few careers and I wasn't happy. I wasn't feeding my soul."
Blasi got pregnant with both of her children using in-vitro fertilization. Her son was two rounds and her daughter was 10.
She was so well versed on the subject, friends had been referring people to her for advice.
After hearing business consultant Sarah Walton speak, Blasi hired her for some mentoring sessions.
"It didn't take Sarah long to realize where my passion was. One thing I could do over and over all day is help women with IVF," she said.
"I finally knew what my true calling was."
The Fertilities Unite (FU) Project is a play on words intended to foster a sense of community.
"FU is all you think as you're going through the treatments. You start to resent your husband and the doctors," said the former senior vice president of marketing who also worked as a biology teacher.
Her program is offered in three parts, the first being FU TV, free "fertility advice and adventures" that includes interviews with professionals in the field.
Part two is Patient to Patient information that offers a video course.
Part 3 is Blasi's BFF -- Best Fertility Friend --Support package.
"Most women suffer in silence. There's such a high level of anxiety. That's why the BFF component is so important," she said.
She launched her first class in January and has another planned in May.
