The donation drive was sponsored by a month long program at the library entitled: “Pet Food for Fines”.

Patrons were given up to $5 off their library fines if they donated dog or cat food supplies. The donated braided dog toys were made by children and families during the library’s February “Random Act of Kindness” program.

The program generated 16 toys that were donated to the shelter dogs.
