Adam Messing, 22, was set to graduate on May 21 from the University of Hartford's Barney School of Business with a degree in insurance and finance.

He was airlifted to a nearby Connecticut hospital after falling approximately 20-feet at a waterfall.

"Adam is larger than life. He loves his cars, his family, his friends, his fraternity brothers, his amazing girlfriend Chelsea and his chicken parmigiana," the GoFundMe says.

"We can't wait to see him driving on the road again soon."
