EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The East Rutherford Memorial Library will be hosting its monthly “Random Acts of Kindness Program," where kids and teens will be paired.

This month’s program, which takes place from 3:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, coincides with “Read Across America."

Teenagers will be paired with children and read them a book of their choice, one on one. They then will do a simple craft they could take home. Children ages 3-7 are welcome.

Registration is required as space is limited. Participants must arrive five minutes early to the session to claim their reserved spot or risk losing their spot to waitlisted individuals.

Priority will be given to East Rutherford residents. Participants could register online for this event by clicking here .

For any additional questions or to volunteer for this event, please contact Children’s Librarian Maria Russo at 201-939-3930 or e-mail maria.russo@eastrutherford.bccls.org.

The East Rutherford Memorial Library is at 143 Boiling Springs Ave.
