RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Rutherford Food Pantry is seeking nonperishable foods and various donations throughout December.
The list of donations includes: Holiday Candy, Candy Canes, Stocking Stuffers, Cookies, Crackers, Cake Mix And Frosting, Wrapping Paper, Tissue Paper, Scotch Tape, Flour, Pancake Mix, Syrup, Tea Bags, Apple Sauce, Parmalat, Canned Pasta, Shampoo, Conditioner, Paper Towels, Tissues, Toilet Paper, Dish Detergent, Vegetable Oil, Vinegar, Salad Dressing, Deodorant, (Women and Men), Sardines, and Clams.
The Pantry has an abundance of the following items and does not need them at this time: Pasta (Quick Cook, Whole Wheat and Whole Grain), Lasagna, Shells and Manicotti, Canned Green Beans/Carrots/Peas, Cranberry sauce, Cheerios, Tomato Soup, and Matzos.
Items may be delivered to the Food Pantry located in the basement of Borough Hall at 176 Park Ave.
If the pantry is locked, donations can be left on the shelves outside the door.
