Born in Czernowitz, Romania, he was born Dec.5,1934. He came to America in 1952 and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was employed by Purich Inc in Bogota as an auto upholsterer. He was a 50-plus-year member and past president for 34 years of Sportfriends Soccer Club of Wayne.
He is survived by his children, Paul Zetelski and his wife Mary and Heidi Contreras and her husband Pedro; grandchildren, Alex and his wife Kathy, Jessica and her husband James, PJ, Jeremy, and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Samantha and Jimmy.
He was predeceased by his wife, Tatianna.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave., Rutherford. A funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary R.C. Church, Rutherford. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington. Family and friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. Saturday.
