RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Ann Balko (nee De Christopher), a resident of Rutherford, died on Monday, Jan. 11. She was 98.
Balko was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Lyndhurst Elks Lodge. She was also a member the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Post 4697 of North Arlington, the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, and Alexander Stover Post #37 of North Arlington. In addition, she was a Charter Member of both the Italian American Club of North Arlington and the Senior Harmony Club of North Arlington.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Branca of Rutherford; grandson Christopher Branca and his wife Jessica; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John.
