EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Antonio J. Anzidei, 68, of East Rutherford, died Wednesday, Oct. 26.
He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Saverio and Maria (nee Gallardo) Anzidei. He and his wife Ester came to the United States in 1979; they were married for 49 years.
Anzidei started a trailer repair company called A.T.R Trailer Repair and was contracted by Wakefern Food Corp. in Newark. He loved his video camera, recording all family events. He also loved music and singing. He especially enjoyed watching sunsets and sunrises with his family.
He is survived by his wife Ester (nee Lagarde) Anzidei; children, Karina Acosta and husband Marcelo and Melanie Anzidei; sisters; Blanca Anzidei and Elsa Devaux; grandsons, Christian Acosta, Kevin Acosta and Melissa Acosta.
There will be a funeral at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Liturgy at St. Cecilia’s Church, 120 Kearny Ave., Kearny. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
