RUTHEFORD, N.J. -- Arthur W. Segers, of Rutherford, died Monday, Aug. 29. He was 64.
He was born in Paterson to Arthur Segers and Jean (nee Voorman).
He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He recieved an AA degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BA degree from Bloomfield College. He was employed with PSE&G in Ridgefield for more than 30 years before retiring in 2011. He was a parishioner and usher at The Church of Saint Mary in Rutherford.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Nancy (nee Spliedt) of 34 years; children, Joseph Fox, Kelly Tiboldo and husband Louis, Nancy Rivera and husband Brian and Jeanette Segers; beautiful grandchildren, Louis, Faith, Giovanni and Brooke; siblings, Lynda Schmeding and Patricia Kavet; niece, Beth Kavet; and nephew, Thomas Schmeding.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
