CARLSTADT, N.J. – Carmella Carnevale, a resident of Hickory, N.C. and formerly of Carlstadt, died Sunday, July 10. She was 99.
Born in Hackensack, she was retired from Becton Dickinson of East Rutherford.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Carnevale and his wife Dianna and Marilyn De Lauro and her husband Frank; grandchildren, Tamra, Darryl, Gregg, Michele and Adam; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Carnevale.
Family and friends will be received from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave., Rutherford. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph RC Church, 120 Hoboken Road, East Rutherford. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Trinity Ridge Nursing Home, 2140 Medical Park Drive, Hickory, NC 28602.
