RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Charles T. Binder, a resident of Rutherford, died Thursday, May 12. He was 86.
Born in Newark, N.J., he was employed as a bank manager with North Side Savings Bank in New York City. He was a member of the New Jersey National Guard, an adult leader of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 110, an avid sports fan and former member of the St. Joseph PTA of West New York.
He is survived by his children, Charles J. Binder and his wife Lynn, Patricia Binder Hauser and her husband Scott, James F. Binder and his wife Miriam Soto; and grandchildren, Hannah Binder, Nicholas Hauser, Charles Binder and Katrina Binder.
Family and friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. Sunday. The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave., Rutherford. There will be a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary RC Church, Rutherfoord. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Ft. Lee.
