RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Doris M. Sansone (nee Zoon) of Rutherford died Dec. 8. She was 87.
Formerly of Carlstadt, she was born in Wallington, and was a switchboard operator with NJ Bell in Rutherford for many years. A dancer, she was a longtime member of Vic's Hoofers of Carlstadt.
She is survived by her children Marguerite, Laurie and Thomas, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband John Sansone who died in 1972, and her son Donald who died in 2002.
Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10 at the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave. Services will at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 11 at the funeral home. Interment is at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus.
