EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Edward A. "Neube" Neubauer, 65, a resident of East Rutherford for more than 50 years, passed away Dec. 17, 2015.
For 25 years, he worked for the East Rutherford Department of Public Works, retiring in 2015.
Neubauer was a member of the East Rutherford Fire Department and the Emergency Squad, the Bergen Passaic Exempts and the NJ NY Firemen's Association. He also was a mason of Boiling Spring Lodge No. 152 in Rutherford.
He was the husband of Alice K. (nee Griffith) Neubauer; brother of Helene Heber and her husband Henry and Gregory Neubauer; and uncle of several nieces and nephews.
There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
