CARLSTADT, N.J. – Georgina G. Urbay, a resident of Carlstadt, died Friday, July 22. She was 87.
She was born in Cuba in 1929, to Nicanor and Lucia Rojas.
She was a teacher in Elizabeth, N.J., for 27 years and was a U.S. history buff. She was a member of the New Jersey Teachers Association and 5th Ave. Presbyterian Church in New York.
She is survived by her husband, Othon Urbay; her children, Odette (Urbay) Cross and husband Carmey of Demerest, Owen Urbay of Carlstadt, Osanna Urbay of West New York, Olivette (Urbay) Diaz and her husband of Carlstadt; and her grandchildren, Olivia Cross, Omar Diaz, Ethan Diaz and Sibling, Nelsa Lopez Barres.
Cremation will be private.
