EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Giuseppe “Pinuccio” Mitolo, of East Rutherford, died on Dec. 1. He was 76.
Mitolo was born in Molfetta, Italy and came to the US in 1967. He formerly lived in Hoboken. For many years, he was a chemist in the textile industry, last working for a company in West New York. He was a long time member of the Savoia Soccer Club in Hoboken and he was a fan and supporter of the Juventus Football Club in Torino, Italy.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Rosaria (nee Amato) Mitolo; children, Eleanor R. Pellicane and her husband Joseph and Michael Joseph Mitolo; grandchildren, Alessia and Julia; siblings, Lorenzo Mitolo, Ignazia Mitolo and the late Corrado Mitolo and two other brothers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Redemptoris Mater Seminary, 672 Passaic Ave., Kearny, NJ 07032.
