RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Gloria Blinstrub, of Rutherford, died Monday, Nov. 28.
She was born in Brooklyn, to Edward and Lillian Linn. She met the love of her life Walter and they were married in 1958. They moved to Rutherford in 1964, where they raised their three children and remained until present. She was a Rutherford Girl Scout leader, an avid reader, she enjoyed bowling, swimming and her pets. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Walter J. Blinstrub; her children, Mark and husband Xiaomin Liu, David and wife Audrey, Lynn and husband Thomas Crossan; grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher and Lauren; and sister, Yvonne Tansill.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday with an 11 a.m. prayer service in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
