Born in Detroit, Mongulla was a secretary for many years with Becton-Dickinson of East Rutherford. She retired in 1985.
She is survived by children, Beverly Chamberlain and her husband Rudy of Denville, and E. Jack Mongulla and his wife Tina of Delanco; and her grandchildren, Lisa Doria, Lynn Bradley, Michael Mongulla, Marc Mongulla, Kim Chamberlain Fiorelli and Kristine Chamberlain DeAngelis.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Courtney, Megan and Lauren Bradley, Alex, Jack, Nicholas, Jenna, Jillian, Matthew, Lewis and Andrew.
Mongulla was preceded by her husband, E. Jack Mongulla; parents Melchiore and Marianna (DeGaetano) Russo; granddaughter Kathryn Chamberlain Siter; and siblings Joseph and Angelo Russo.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, and from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, at the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave., in Rutherford. The funeral will be on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. from the funeral home, with a 12:30 p.m. mass at St. Mary's in Rutherford. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.
