RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Lillian Cadmus, of Rutherford, died on Dec. 11. She was 97.
Born in Germantown, Illinois on April 2, 1919. She was employed at Western Electric in her early years and than owned and operated a Luncheonette with Al. Then she went to work for Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford as a food supervisor. She retired at age 75.
She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred (Al) Cadmus. She is survived by her daughter, Edna Cadmus. She was a MOM to many, especially Eileen Bersick. Predeceased by her parents, Herman and Elizabeth Diesen; brothers, Delmar & Erwin Diesen; sisters, Irene Bennett & Bernice Albers.
Funeral will be on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 8 a.m. from the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home 41 Ames Ave Rutherford. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St Mary RC Church, Rutherford. Entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
