EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Margaret Karrer, of East Rutherford, died on Dec. 17. She was 97.
She was born in Passaic on Apr. 29, 1919 to Andrew and Anna Stefanick. She married her husband Eugene on July 13, 1935; they were married for nearly 56 years when he died on April 24th, 1991. She enjoyed baking, teaching, and lived to care for her family. She most recently enjoyed spending time with the East Rutherford Seniors.
She is survived by her children, Margaret Hiller, Alice Steiner, Eugene W. Karrer and Louis E. Karrer; 13 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tues, Dec. 20 at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church are appreciated.
