Marisa Adelaide Suarez, 32, Of Carlstadt

CARLSTADT, N.J. -- Marisa Adelaide Suarez, of Carlstadt, died on Dec. 29. She was 32.

She was born April 5, 1984. For eight years, she was a fraud analyst at PVH Corp. in Bridgewater. She was a 2002 graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy and a 2006 graduate of La Salle University. She loved her 80s music. To her, every song was from high school (they never were). She was an outstanding soccer player (2002 NCSAA and McDonalds All American) and ardent Jets, Mets and Nets fan.

She is survived by her parents, David and Lucia (Buzzelli) Suarez; sister, Tara Maria Romano and her husband Nicholas; nephews,  Bob-O to Adelaide (Buggy) and Antonia (Neeners) Romano; grandparents, Alfonso Suarez and the late Maria Suarez, Richard Buzzelli and Adelaide Buzzelli. Godchildren to her little peanut Kaia Soto, Jorge Suarez and Maria Byrne. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  

The cremation was private. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Wednesday, Jan. 4, from 5-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Carlstadt First Presbyterian Church, 457 Division Ave., on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Molly and Lindsey Diabetes Research Foundation,  or Lupus Foundation of America, NJ Chapter,  or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
