EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Mary Penelope (Gillard) Fahy, of East Rutherford, died Thursday, April 14. She was 85.
She was born in Rathreedane, Bonniconlon, County Mayo, Ireland.
She was the wife of the late Martin Fahy, who predeceased her in 1993; mother of Sean, Joseph and his wife, Sheila, Brendan and his wife, Diane; sister of the late John Patrick, Robert, Joseph, Theresa, the late Annie May, and Liam; grandmother of Maureen and her husband, Kevin, Julia and her husband, Joe, Katie, Elizabeth, Mary-Kate, John, Joseph, Matthew, and Grace; and great-grandmother of James, Michael, Nicholas and Connor.
Visiting will take place from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave., Rutherford. A funeral will take place at 9 a.m. Monday at the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, East Rutherford. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
