CARLSTADT, N.J. -- Norma Elsie Brandt, of Carlstadt, died Aug. 20. She was 91.
For more than 40 years, she worked for Prudential Insurance Co., holding various management positions throughout her career, retiring as the claims manager in the Parsippany office.
She was a member and Deacon at the Carlstadt First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Carlstadt Historical Society.
She was the wife of the late George Brandt; longtime companion of Harry Zondler; sister of Renetta Smith; aunt of Cheryl Laganella and her husband John, Debra Tortora and her husband Carl and Alan Daeschler; and great-aunt of Joseph and Jessica Laganella, Richard and Nicholas DelGiorno, Ashley Tortora, Melissa Blanco and her husband Jose and Krystal Daeschler.
There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visitation is from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
