EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Palma M. Ravettine, of East Rutherford, died on Dec. 28. She was 97.
Ravettine was born in Hoboken. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Italian American Club and the Plantation Elketts #2273 of Plantation, Florida. She was a member of the St. Joseph's School Mothers' Club and performed in the annual variety shows. Her passion was singing and dancing.
She is survived by her children, Patricia DeLeasa and her husband Robert, Louis D. Ravettine and his wife Gladys, David J. Ravettine and his wife Carol Pareti, Peter M. Ravettine and his wife Debra and Edward C. Ravettine and his wife Patti; and 12 grandchildren, predeceased by one granddaughter; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister Marie Gallo.
She is predeceased by her husband, Louis Ravettine Sr. and siblings Rose Ruane and Claire McCourt.
Visitation will be on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt. Funeral mass is 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
