CARLSTADT, N.J. –Ronald K. Paar, Sr., 78, of Carlstadt, died Nov. 29.
Paar served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Carlstadt American Legion Post 69. For more than 30 years, he was employed by De Saussure Equipment Company in Maywood and was the shop steward. He was a member of the Carlstadt Fire Deptartment Engine 702 for 25 years, an exempt fireman and a former member of the emergency squad.
He was a member of the Carlstadt First Presbyterian Church.
Paar was the beloved husband of Rose Ann (née Rubertone) Paar; loving father of Ronald K. Paar Jr. and his wife Chrissy; Robert Paar and his fiancée Linda Goon; and the late Roy A. Paar; cherished grandfather of Nicole Petrillo, Joseph Paar, Rebecca Paar; and great-grandfather of Adriana Petrillo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 457 Division Ave., Carlstadt or the Carlstadt Fire Department.
