EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Virginia Rose Cocozzo (nee Montagna), 84, of East Rutherford for more than 60 years, passed away March 16, 2016.
She was born in Lyndhurst. Va. was a homemaker but prior to that, she worked for East Rutherford Syringe Shop many years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church and a member of the Mothers Club.
She was the wife of Charles L. Cocozzo; mother of Rose Anne Plosia and her husband Jesse, Charles C. Cocozzo and his wife Therese, John Cocozzo and his wife Meredith and Mamie Cocozzo; grandmother of Olivia Cocozzo; sister of Annette Montagna, Rose Marie Greenleaf, Joseph Montagna, Vincent Montagna, Samuel Montagna, Pasquale Montagna, Dennis Montagna, Anna Marie Thomas, John Montagna and the late Anthony Montagna; andg aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
