Wayne F. Dguck, 73, Formerly Of Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Wayne F. Dguck, a resident of Toms River and formerly of Rutherford, died Friday, May 13. He was 73.

Born in Jersey City, he was the son of the late Arthur Dguck and Gudrun Blomquist.

He was a U.S. Army veteran stationed in Germany as an MP. He was later employed for Ford Motor Co. in Teterboro. He was a member of the American Legion Post 920 in Toms River, the UAW Local 2210, The Metro-Jersey Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society and a member of the Rutherford Congrational Church. He also enjoyed attending as many of the car and truck shows as he could.

He is survived by his daughters Kimberly J. Morrissey and husband Scott M., Kathleen J. Ciccone and husband John P., Sharon L. Pena and husband Fred; his grandchildren, Matthew, John, Rebecca, Angelina, Isabella, Benjamin and Evelio; and his brothers Harry and George Dguck.

He was predeceased by his former wife Patricia M. Gambert.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. A U.S. Army Honor Guard flag presentation will be at 6:30 p.m. and prayer service at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ron Verblaaunt officiating. The funeral will be private.
