PHOTOS: A suspected DWI driver was behind the wheel of a sedan that struck other vehicles and a warehouse in East Rutherford.

Firefighters extricated the driver, who was hospitalized after the 10 p.m. crash Tuesday Orchard Street.

“Our house literally shook,” resident Stefanie Lopez told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. “The driver hit one parked car on its side, then struck another parked car head on and launched it about 10 feet from the parking spot into another parked car.

“The driver’s car crashed into a warehouse building wall, where the driver was stuck in the car,” she added. “East Rutherford and Wallington firefighters then had to cut the roof of the car off to be able to pull the driver out.”
