EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – A 19-year-old Carlstadt man and a 17-year-old accomplice were charged with throwing down an East Rutherford gas station attendant, pointing handguns at him and fleeing with $134.
Detectives charged Joseph Pierantoni with armed robbery, conspiracy and illegal weapons possession, Capt. Jeff Yannacone said Friday morning.
A delinquency complaint charges the juvenile with the same offenses, he said.
The robbery occurred Jan. 17 at Gasland Gas Station on Paterson Avenue, the captain said.
Pierantoni was taken to the Bergen County Jail pending a bail hearing.
