A milk truck was headed to a nearby supermarket just after 8 a.m. Wednesday when the side door of the trailer inadvertently opened, spilling the milk across South Front Street, the driver, 51-year-old Luis Mitssugnaga of Englewood, told police.

“A cleaning crew was contacted and cleaned the trailer prior to it going onto the next destination,” Police Capt. Mustafa Rabboh said.

The DEP was contacted, he added.

The roadway was soon re-opened, the captain said.
