Shaquille J. Murphy, 23, tried to run from police but was caught after they said he sold 60 folds of heroin to two people, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.

They also seized $12,617 in proceeds from him, as well as nearly 100 bags of crack cocaine -- along with 900 glassine folds of individually-packaged heroin folds, he said.

Speziale said his officers also saw Murphy sell 160 heroin folds to four other people.

Both sales were within 1,000 feet of Public School No. 10, he said.

Murphy was charged with a variety of drug offenses, as well as resisting arrest.
