Video: Rollover Crash Closes Two Lanes Of Route 17 In Paramus

PARAMUS, N.J. -- One occupant was hospitalized and a dog was taken to Oradell Animal Hospital after a utility pole crash that rolled a Dodge Ram onto its side on northbound Route 17 in Paramus Tuesday night.

The crash closed two lanes of northbound Route 17 in Paramus.

The crash occurred outside the Popeye's just north of Ridgewood Avenue, closing the right and center lane of the highway and jamming traffic for miles.

Paramus police, firefighters, EMS and OEM responded, as was a PSE&G crew that stabilized the downed pole and restrung the dangling wires.
