The driver headed north on Maple Avenue at a slow rate of speed when the Jeep Cherokee drifted across the double-yellow line and into a stopped car, Police Chief Jacqueline Luthcke said.

Police who found him slumped over the wheel cut him from his seat belt, got him onto the ground, began CPR and administered the heroin antidote.

They also found heroin in the car.

Charged with DWI, the driver was taken to The Valley Hospital, the police chief said. The vehicle was impounded.

Additional charges were possible, Luthcke added.
