Video: Seals 'Breach' America's Oldest Bar, Restaurant In 18th-Century Gear

TAPPAN, N.Y. -- A group of veteran U.S. Navy SEALS who train Bergen County SWAT team members had a little fun with Thanksgiving, "breaching" America's oldest bar and restaurant armed with muskets.

Members of The Shooting Institute -- which trains law enforcement members in others in combat shooting -- donned tricorne, or "cocked," period hats and antique weapons to make their "entry" at the 76 House, built in 1686, just across the Rockland border in Tappan, N.Y.

The national landmark, nicknamed “Andre’s Prison,” is where British spy Major John Andre was jailed before being hanged for conspiring with Benedict Arnold, one of the most infamous traitors in U.S. history.

Members of the Christian-based Shooting Institute train various law enforcement units, including the Hackensack-based Bergen County Regional SWAT team. Its instructors include SEALs who've been snipers and overseas private-security marksmen.
