Carlstadt PTA Preparing Annual Trunk Or Treat

CARLSTADT, N.J. — Want some candy? Carlstadt residents are encouraged to come dressed in your best Halloween costume to the fourth annual "Trunk or Treat" stage by the Carlstadt Parent Teacher Association on Friday, Oct. 30.

“This is a fun and exciting event,” said Stephanie Polifrone Shockley, a Carlstadt PTA member.

It will be held from 3-4 p.m. in the lower parking lot of Carlstadt Public School by the entrance of Sun Chemical.A Halloween party follows immediately afterward, with snacks, goodies, games, pumpkins and prizes.

Games such as Mummy Wrap, Candy Walk, Freeze Dance, trivia and more will be offered.Children must be dressed in costumes to get candy.

Party packages are available for $5 and include tickets for one cotton candy, one popcorn, one hot dog, one baked good, one drink (hot chocolate, water or coffee), one pumpkin and one pumpkin decorating kit.

A limited amount of tickets will be available at the door, so organizers suggest you get there early. This event is for Carlstadt residents only.

“Thank you for your support,” Shockley said. “We are looking forward to another safe and successful event.”
