The free app provides important district information and emergency notices -- including those from only the schools they care about.
Available on both Apple and Android devices, the app lists school announcements, upcoming events, lunch menus, breaking news, delays and closures -- and, of course, emergencies.
District officials call it "an example of our commitment to take advantage of current technology for the purpose of providing parents and community members all of the district’s information conveniently and easily, and making it more accessible than ever."
The app is available for download in the App Store or Google Play Store by searching for "East Rutherford School District" or "ER School District."
