Rutherford School District Seeks New Member To Fill BOE Vacancy

RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Rutherford Board of Education is seeking a new board member for 2016, who will also be put on the ballot in November of 2016 for the final year of the three-year-term.

All candidates are required to have lived in Rutherford for at least 1 year prior to being appointed and must be registered to vote in the district.

Letters of application will be accepted through January 4, 2016 until 4 p.m. Interviews will be conducted at a January meeting of the Rutherford Board of Education.

Mail a letter of interest to Rutherford BOE Board Secretary Joseph P. Kelly at 176 Park Avenue, Rutherford, NJ 07070 to apply.
