Annual Ladybug Release, Festival Comes To Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Junior Woman's Club of Rutherford is presenting the 11th Annual Ladybug Release and Festival, on Saturday, June 4.

Ladybugs are a natural way to get rid of yard and garden pests, and the event will release hundreds of them into the environment. The festival will also feature face painting, temporary tattoos, crafts and games.

You can purchase the $5 packs of 8-10 ladybugs in three ways. First, you can mail this form with payment, to JWCR c/o Dawn, P.O. Box 1657, Rutherford, NJ 07070. Second, to pay by credit card, visit PayPal, here. Select "Send" and enter jwcrutherford1657@gmail.com, the total amount and the number of items.

Packs will be available for pickup at the event. Finally, you can buy packs there, while supplies last.

The event will be from 2:30-4:30 p.m., in Lincoln Park, across from Rutherford Borough Hall. The rain date is Saturday, June 18.
