Rutherford Library Organizes Edible Book Festival

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Friends of the Library of Rutherford once again will host the Edible Book Festival at the Rutherford Public Library Saturday, April 2.

Any person, family or group may enter by designing a cake or confection inspired by a book. The entire community is invited to enjoy refreshments, buy raffle basket tickets and then buy and cast votes for their favorite creations.

Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the festival. Entry forms can be found at the main circulation desk at the Rutherford Public Library.

All entries must be submitted to the library by Monday, March 28. For more information, call (201) 939-8600.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The library is at 150 Park Ave., Rutherford.
