Tractor-Trailer Wedged Beneath Train Trestle In Lyndhurst

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- An 18-wheeler got wedged beneath a New Jersey Transit train trestle on Delafield Avenue in Lyndhurst Thursday afternoon.

No injuries were reported in the 2:10 p.m. mishap, which ripped part of the roof from the trailer like a metal can, Police Chief James O'Connor told Daily Voice. A tower unhitched the trailer and pulled out it from behind.
