Born in Hoboken, Pingree had worked in human resources for the Bank of New York as well as working as a teacher at St. Phillips School, in Clifton.
She is survived by her husband, John, and her siblings, John Murtha and his wife Anne Marie, Kathleen Murtha and her husband Mark Weiss, Robert Murtha and his wife Delia, and Kevin Murtha and his wife Shari Ferguson.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Macagna-Diffily-Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Ave., in Rutherford. The funeral will be from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, thence to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, in Rutherford, for a 10:30 a.m. mass. Private cremation will follow.
