RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Phyllis C. Maguire, of Rutherford, died Thursday, Aug. 11. She was 88.
She was born in 1927, in Orange.
She was a bookkeeper for PSE&G in Newark for 15 years before retiring in 1965 to devote herself to her children full time.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Thomas Maguire and his wife Beth, Bill Maguire and his wife Cynthia and Judith Maguire and her husband Allan Aujero; grandchildren, Marissa Maguire and Atticus Maguire Judd; and her nieces and nephews, Anthony, Michelle, Don, Barbara, Charles, Maria, Connie, Tina and Joe.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington.
